Installation concerning information

1. It is not allowed to roll, throw or hi the engineered stone during the transportation and handing for it may cause the hidden crack or damage. Keep the engineered stone outdoors from rain and snow.
2. Keep the cement mortar of proper humidity, for the excessively wet mortar may:
a. Produce a layer of moisture film, and obstruct the film, adhesion of the engineered stone with the cement sand.
b. Obstruct the evaporation of the moisture under the slab. In such case, the moisture under the slab will keep on alkalization with the cement, and cause the rake angle and even the burst of the slab by erosion.
3. he cement mortar must be stirred and mixed evenly, for the unmixed mortar of poor structure may cause the poor adhesion and crack and damage engineered stone slab loaded.
Installation and construction
A. Pavement on the wall
1. Clean and level the wall with a spade
2. Apply the cement on the wall by a brush twice.
3. Fix the slab firmly on the wall by the iron wire and the expansion screw.
4. Pour the cement mortar (1.3) into the gap between the slab and wall.
5. Remove the mortar and other dirt on the slab surface.
6. Apply and maintain the wet fabric on the slab for 24hours it is installed at the place under the direct sunshine,
B. Pavement on the floor
1. Mark the horizontal base line on the floor, remove the part above the horizontal base line and fill the part below the base line for the convenient of the construction.
2. Mix and stir the cement mortar with one portion of cement, four portions of sand and proper amount of water evenly to half dried.
3. Apply the cement, mortar, mixed well evenly on the floor for about 2- 4cm thick, put on the engineered stone, and adjust it to achieve the desired height.
4. After the adjustment, take off the engineered stone, apply a thin layer of dry white cement mortar is moist cement mortar .and wet the cement powder .mp water shall apply.
5. Put on the engineered stone, knock it gently with a rubber hammer or a wood hammer to make it nestle closely and completely to the cement mortar .level it and adjust the joints (1.5-3.0)between the neighboring slabs. If there is any slabs in the different level with others, take it off, adjust the levelness of the base again, and repeat the steps 4and 5.
6. Generally, it is necessary to remain a 2mm joint between the engineered stone slabs to evaporate the moisture and the offset the expansion stress. For a large –area pavement arrange the expansion joints at the proper distance, to prevent protrusion or crack on the slab due to the expansion/ shrinkage on the floor surface or structure.
7. After the pavement of the engineered stone, wait for 3-5days before caulk the joints for the normal drying of the mortar on the base .Caulking too fast may lock too much moisture inside the floor/wall structure and cement sand ,and the alkali materials inside the cement will keep on hydration, In such case, the sodium salt and alkali water will come out from the capillaries if the stone with the evaporation of the moisture, result in the phenomena commonly called the “alkali flood” and seriously affect the decoration effect. Use the crack filler specially for the stone or the cement for caulking and remove the excessive filler immediately after caulking.

1. Nobody shall walk on the engineered stone before the curing of the cement mortar (at least 24hours) after the pavement and installation or its levelness or cause the damage.
2. If it is necessary to make any other decoration work after the pavement of the engineered stone, please cover the sandwich plate or carpet on the stone surface to prevent it from any damage or weariness.
3. rrange the rug or dust-roof mat at the entrance /exit of the place where the engineered stone is used to prevent ant hard object such as the sand or stone to abrade or scratch the slab surface .Because of the permeability of the marble, it is necessary to remove the ink, coffee, tea, oil or any other stainable material from the slab surface (if any) to keep its cleanness and elegance.
4. No acid/alkali detergent shall be used as the main composition of the engineered stone is the natural marble, and the marble as the metamorphic rock in the family of limestone, mainly contains calcium(CaCo3)any non-neutral material may damage its brightness .As most detergents currently on the market add in the alkali/acid materials to improve their cleaning effects, use them often will thoroughly damage the brightness of the engineered stone, and affect its appearance .It is recommended to aband on those non-neutral acid/alkali materials suck as the thinned hydrochloric acid and the detergent for ceramic tiles.
5. Never put on the rug for long times, put the rug on the surface of the engineered stone for long times without any uncover or replacement may obstruct the dispelling of the moisture from the stone through the capillaries, heighten its moisture content ,and result in the “flooring” in the future ,If it is necessary to put the rube on the surface of the engineered stone for a long time, please choose the rug with fine air permeability and keep the room always ventilated to avoid the coagulation of the moisture and the breeding of bacteria.
6. No common floor wax shall apply as the oily wax, the common floor wax will bring in the dust, block up the capillaries, form the wax stain, and cause the surface dirt in the future. It is recommended to use the special maintenance agent for stone, which can add luster to the stone, and has the antiskid, wear proof and static electricity resistant performance.
